Designing and Creating a New Environment for Claritas Solutions
We were approached by Claritas Solutions to help them transform their newly acquired Wetherby office into a modern tech hub for the future.
The shortage of Grade A office space in Yorkshire, twinned with an increased demand for creative office space, has made it increasingly tricky for Yorkshire’s firms to unlock suitable office space.
Silicon Valley office trends have been mirrored in the UK over the past few years all with a British spin on things! Think Google headquarter slides, meeting pods, office dogs, free gyms on site and afternoon drinks fridges in the office.
We worked with Claritas to design a secure, innovative space with an aim for them to attract and retain the best staff in the region.
Claritas' new office boasts a combination of different functions, all designed to improve staff morale and productivity, increase security and facilitate big contract wins. The office has been split into separate zones, to compartmentalise the office dynamic.
The new premises allows the company to meet the specific needs of each of its business functions. There are quiet areas to allow developers to focus on coding, a large monitoring wall to keep a close eye on clients’ critical systems, an on-site build room for the third line technical team and a spacious open-plan workspace for sales and admin teams.
Additionally, a large break-out and kitchen area with comfy sofas, tuck shop, prosecco fridge, TV and X-Box gives employees the opportunity to take some time away from their desk to help reduce stress and improve productivity.
Our MD, Phil Brown, said: “Claritas needed a space that would facilitate their business goals, whilst giving employees and clients an inspiring and fun environment. Splitting up the 10,000 square foot office into separate zones has allowed for several meeting spaces to suit different employee and clients’ needs with spacious and colourful office areas and a large breakout area for them to take some time out.
“It’s great to see that the new physical environment at Claritas has been embraced by its workforce, helping increase productivity and realise their growth potential”.

Jenny Lloyd, Operations Director at Claritas comments: “Our new space and increased productivity has immediately allowed us to employ an additional six team members and opened us up to larger contracts. The space will allow us to facilitate our goals, allowing us to accommodate sixty employees rather than the forty we previously had.
“The icing on the cake is the award of a five-year £12 million new contract too” - a contract that has been enabled by the new, improved security setup at their Wetherby HQ.
