Claritas' Brand New Office Gets Shortlisted for Inspired Spaces North 2018 Award
We're very excited to announce that the brand new office of Claritas Solutions in Wetherby has been shortlisted for the Inspired Spaces North 2018 award created by Prolific North.
The IT support and services company's brand new home has claimed a spot in the top 22 of what the judges are calling "the regions most inspiring workspaces".
Now in it's third year, Inspired Spaces North celebrates the best and most inspiring work environments in the top half of the country. For the second year running the award will be sponsored by Sheila Bird Group, GVA and Zut Media.
The Project
We partnered up with Claritas very shortly after they acquired their new building in Wetherby and were appointed to design and create a great place for their team to work. This gave us the opportunity to realise the amazing potential that this empty space had to offer.
The IT specialists were formerly housed in serviced offices just outside Leeds city centre, meaning the level of security they were able to achieve was limited by the building they occupied and the facilities that it contained.

Claritas required a safe and secure workspace, where they were in complete control of the security systems. This would help them win some prestigious contracts and further the growth of the business.
This meant that security had to be the focal point in the creation of their brand new work environment.
Working alongside Claritas, we developed a comprehensive design and fit out solution that would help them achieve the desired levels of security.
We also created an inspirational work environment that would improve productivity within the office and set them up to facilitate the planned future growth of the team.

The Workspace
We created a number of different work zones to compliment the ways that the different teams work best.
We introduced quiet areas to allow developers to focus on coding, an on-site build room for the third line technical team and a spacious open-plan workspace for sales and admin teams.

Jenny Lloyd, Operations Director at Claritas Solutions, commented "Our new space and increased productivity has immediately allowed us to employ an additional six team members and opened us up to larger contracts.
The space will allow us to facilitate our goals, allowing us to accommodate sixty employees rather than the forty we previously had."

The Award
The shortlist will be released to a public vote very soon, which will reduce the list to the Top 10 finalists. The Top 10 will be revealed at Prolific North's Wrap Party in November 2018, where the award winner will be announced.
