New Team Members in the Spotlight
We’re experiencing a flying start to 2019! Last year was a brilliant year for Absolute Commercial Interiors with an exciting office move and large project completions, taking us from strength to strength.
Our fantastic team are the reason behind this incredible success and we’re dedicated to investing in the people who will help us to reach our goals. As a result, we recently expanded our team to include two more full-time members and one temporary member - Safiya Shaikh, our new Marketing Assistant and Nikou Carey, our new Junior Interior Designer. The temporary member of our team is Jess Baker who joins us as a Design Intern for 2018/19. Let’s meet the new recruits!
Safiya Shaikh
With our intentions of growing our presence online, giving the website an overhaul and developing our overall marketing strategy, we needed an extra pair of hands to help us facilitate our ambitious growth plans! Saf joined us in January from a marketing agency in Harrogate, where she’d gained valuable knowledge that will help us to grow:

As soon as I stepped foot into the Absolute offices and met some of the team, I knew it would be a great place to work and I had immediate ideas to offer the marketing strategy. Although I’ve only been here for two months I know I’m exactly where I need to be!"
Nikou Carey
Our interior designers have been busier than ever with an increasing number of large and creative projects coming our way, so we needed a passionate new designer to join our design team. Nikou joined us last month and has immediately settled into her new role!

"I wanted to work for Absolute Commercial Interiors to explore the possibilities of Commercial Design having come from a Residential background. The company ethos and friendly atmosphere are something that I really wanted to be a part of and spread the word of how important a great and inspiring environment is to everyone’s working life. I’m excited to help make other people excited to go to work, through my design input!"
Jess Baker
Last year, Jess Baker joined us on a student placement from the University of Huddersfield. Jess is currently working towards her Interior Design degree and had the opportunity to spend her placement year with interior design companies of her choice. Although the intention was for Jess to stay with us for 3 months, we just couldn’t let her go! She’s now staying with us until the end of summer and she brings lots of enthusiasm, passion and fresh new ideas to the design team!

"I adore everyone at Absolute and the work is really exciting and challenging, every day is different! Especially being a placement student, as I get to assist on a wide variety of jobs. I love the passion that everyone has for their job and the team, work and offices are such a high standard. I am excited to go back to uni though as I was previously struggling with aspects of CAD which I am now far more confident in!"
